Bryony ~ Clay & Burn

Bryony knew exactly what she didn’t want.

She didn’t want copy that sounded like a chaotic Pinterest board.
Didn’t want blurbs that just listed scents in a duty-free aisle.
And absolutely did not want her candles described with words like “sensual tango” or “passionate flicker.”

Because Clay & Burn isn’t generic home fragrance.
It’s a Jane Austen scene in a jar.
Consciously created. Carefully sourced. And crafted by a dedicated businesswoman who knows what her dream client wants.

… She just didn’t know how to write that without feeling like she was giving herself the ick.

So she gave me the raw materials, her scent notes, her vibe, her “boujie-but-not-rude” dream client and trusted me to do what I do best:
Turn candle blurbs into irresistible little scenes you can breathe into your imagination.

No calls. No chaos. Just a beautifully filled form, a strong point of view, and one exciting brief:
“Don’t make it cringe.”

You’ve got it, my love.

Three versions per scent, each one built to create a feeling, evoke a memory, not just describe a fragrance.
Because “plum and rhubarb” means nothing until you feel like you’re standing in a walled garden with a basket of freshly picked fruit and memories of a simpler time.

And when I sent the final copy?

“Love it! It’s exactly the vibe I was going for… but something I’d never have been able to write myself. Made me want to buy it all!”

Job done.

Just a few tweaks, a couple of emoji reactions, and a brand-new glow to her fragrance pages.

Now? Her scent descriptions romance her customers before the wick’s even lit.

Explore Bryony’s beautiful (like, delish) fragrances over at Clay & Burn, (The Snuggery is one of my faves… just saying).

If you’ve been staring at a product page thinking “I just don’t know how to write this without gagging” I’ll pop the kettle on…
